- The auction for the remains of C= will take place in New York on
- 21 April 95. Considering this fact (for those who choose not to
- believe me, go read Jason Compton's recent postings in c.s.a.misc)
- and the fact that CEI, one of the bidders for C= has publically
- stated its intentions to rev up production and sales of A4000s and
- A1200s as quickly as they can if/when they become the winning
- bidder (recent info leads me to believe this could be done within
- 90 days of the auction, or less, depending on inventory at the
- ex-C= Philippines factory and other factors), it would be as premature
- for NewTek to have already decided that LW 4.0 will be the last Amiga
- version as it was for IDG/TechMedia to decide a few weeks ago to
- make the April '95 issue of Amiga World magazine the last issue.
-
- NAB may or may not necessarily tell, since NAB in Vegas ends a good
- week before the C= NYC auction begins.
-
- Unless, of course, Mr. Jenison has already made up his mind, and
- at this point in time only he knows for sure and I've yet to see
- him post anything here.
-
- So... why don't we wait and see?
